However, I would not call Novamira the best AI WordPress plugin for every user. It is not mainly a writing assistant, chatbot, or simple website builder. It is a developer tool with powerful access. It is best used on a development or staging site with a working backup.

For this post, I will choose the authentication method, and I’m connecting to ChatGPT AI.

Your site must use HTTPS. Keep the Application Password private and store it only in the client configuration intended for secrets.

Follow the instructions on the Novamira interface to set this up.

First, go to ChatGPT “Settings“.

Click on “Security and Login“

Toggle on “Developer Mode”

As soon as that is done, go to “Plugins” and press the button in the top right, the ” Create new plugin” icon, in ChatGPT.

Fill in all the details Novamira provided. Give the plugin this name, or one you’ll recognize with “Novamira” in it:

Paste the URL below as the Server URL Novamira created for you, keep Authentication set to OAuth, tick “I understand and want to continue“, and press Create. Then sign in when the browser opens.

Once the plugin is created, you will need to follow the onscreen instruction authorize and log in.

You can see your connected apps on your WordPress admin dashboard.

Step 6: Start with a small read-only task

Ask the agent to inspect the active theme or explain a plugin structure before allowing it to change anything. This confirms that the connection works and shows how the agent reasons about your site.

Step 7: Make one bounded change

5. Results depend on the AI model and the quality of your prompt.
6. Broad compatibility does not guarantee perfect support for every version of every plugin.
